Ohio Beaders Showcase 2

Ohio Beaders are craftspeople from Ohio who get together to discuss all aspects of jewelry arts. We have several gatherings and a weekend retreat each year. Our members range from to newbies and bead shop owners to advanced beaders, metal and wire workers. Members support each other with encouragement and by exchanging ideas and information, inspire one another by posting pictures of our work and links to the work of others, and stretch the limits of our creativity with challenges.

Ohio Beaders Colored Pencil Challenge

October 2^nd- November 20^th , 2011

These were the guidelines for the Colored Pencil Challenge:

The piece must have been made during the time of the Challenge.

We were to to make any type of jewelry using at least one of the colors in the same value and saturation as the colored pencils in the photograph above.

The Challenge was strictly for fun and to challenge our beading skills, it was not a contest.

In addition to talking on line, we have several gatherings and a weekend retreat each year. Our members range from advanced beaders and wire workers to newbies and bead shop owners. Ohio Beaders members support each other with encouragement and by exchanging ideas and information, inspire one another by posting pictures of our work and links to the work of others, and stretch the limits of our creativity with challenges.
